Oh, and I have had routers come back from the dead with a different power supply. check the specs on the box and make sure you have the right one, and if you do, try one form something else with similar specs.
I have one that I got to work with a generic power supply.
Different power supply?
Forgive me, but different from the plug that goes into the router and the wall, or a different wall outlet? Or, like, should I try wind energy and nuclear. This is outside my ken.
stratta: reset router. IP address is still bunk.
finally getting somewhere. Don't know what I did differently.
Am I missing something, or are iTunes rentals excluded from Home Sharing?
DH rented a couple of movies and we want to watch them on the TV (which is connected to my old G5), but they're not showing up under his account in the Shared section. Are we out of luck?
Recommendations for a simple mp3 player for a Mac? I wanna play
Caprica
on iTunes while listening to the commentary podcast, which means I can't user iTunes to play the podcast like I usually do. Tonight I'm gonna use Audacity, but that seems like a lot of firepower to bring to the equation when I just wanna listen to something.
Crap, I just realized I could use my iPod for the podcast, but then I'd need an additional 1/8" stereo plug to RCA connector thingie....
Just use the Quicktime player application.
Dammit, why didn't I think of that?
Thanks.
umm, so my computer went apeshit this morning, telling me that I had a virus. I ran anti spyware, it found 15 items (mostly tracking cookies) and everything seemed to be fine. Unfortunately, a bunch of programs don't work anymore, like Firefox. Anything with an .exe string won't run.
Oddly, Explorer seems to work fine. Thoughts?
