Mal: Well, look at this! Appears we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us? Zoe: Big damn heroes, sir.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I'm going to get one. For sure. I'm not sure if I'll get it now, or wait a few months. I absolutely love what they've shown and it looks like it could be more functional than the MacBook Air I have from work.

Our wings are not tired

If they stick to the timeline the 3G model will be out just after my birthday. I'll be buying the 64 GB 3G model, that's certain. I won't have to travel with my laptop nearly as often.

Oooh, so tempting. And yet...necessary?? Hmm. The problem being, it's so tempty, I'm not sure I can manage to hold out til the next release like I normally try to do....

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I can't imagine where and I why I would use this, instead of a laptop.

If I did a ton of business travel, I would buy one in a heartbeat (except I'd wait for the 2nd gen because Apple products are never quite right the first time out). But I can't see myself using it at home, and a netbook is still a LOT cheaper.

But with business travel, you need a keyboard, and word processing. And the iPad doesn't multitask.

belatedly, seconding Seskas thanks. Yeah I bet I can find something in those designs that work. If they are all too pricey, I might be able to kludge something ugly but functional stealing their designs.

Because you want to pretend that you're on Star Trek.
