I just want to replace the windows mobile phone with a phone that uses a Mac interface!
I just was reading that. Yep the new iPhone is running OSX. Hmmm. Harbinger of more embedded OSX items?

Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!

The AppleTV is kinda' cool too - for its price, anyway ($299). The more video you have in iTunes, the more it makes sense to buy an AppleTV to display it on your TV. Currently I use my iPod to do that, but it's somewhat of a PITA and it's only at regular resolution, right? Plus my 60 GB iPod no longer has space for any video.
My computer sits right next to my TV, and it's plugged directly into it.
I love this at the bottom of each page:

Why can't be be like Europe, where a specific cellphone is not tied to only one phone company? Actually, I thought I read a rumor somewhere that the iPhone would work with multiple services....
Since Cingular has the exclusive, it's a GSM phone. It will work with other GSM providers once it's been unlocked. (Cingular usually provides the unlock codes after 90 days of service.) If you're with Verizon or Sprint, you're out of luck.
If anyone's looking for reasonably inexpensive unlocked phones (tri- and quad-band available), look at myworldphone.com: [link] Their shipping charge is high, but every phone has been as described, and I've received most of them within 24 hours of placing the order.
Once it is unblocked, that mean that I can take the little chip out of my t-mobile phone and put it in the unblacked phone?

Yep.
My TV has it's own computer too, a MythTV box. One of the cooler things I've seen with that is using an XBox (not a 360) as a MythTV frontend. If I didn't already have my system all set up, I'd be thinking about picking up a used XBox for a frontend and have a file server/Myth backend/router computer. I still might try that sometime.
Well, looks like a paid too much for the magenta razr that I bought just cause it was magenta! But, I could get a light pink one, now too!
Maria just made my day!
