The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Percussive maintenance win!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

It also meas it might be reasonably fixable.

I really have been wanting a new Macbook, because (1) new! shiny!; (b) more hard drive space; (iii) faster; (D) can burn DVDs; (5) the new Macbook Pros have a slot for an SD card, which is AWESOME.

But I'm also on the frugality train, so if it's fixable for not too much $, I'll get it fixed.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Please, you'll save that much in reduced spending on sugary stuff, easy.

Ha! True dat. Someone posted in Natter yesterday that sugar prices have gone up, but I think the impending glut to the market of all the sugar I don't eat is going to make prices take a nosedive.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

So Time Warner is raising their rates about 20% this month, and I'm thinking about dropping cable TV altogether, and relying on the Internets for my video entertainment.

I also want to avoid aheming where possible, and rely on Hulu and iTunes where possible. I'm working through the economics and see if it's worth the hassle.

Does anyone here subscribe to MLB.tv? The site is not very up front about how much it costs. Are you happy with the price and the picture quality?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

You might check with DX. I'm fairly sure he subscribes to something baseball-related, though it might be radio.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Tom, if you get a Roku box, MLB is one channel you can subscribe to.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

What's a good program for running multiple IM accounts on a PC? I'm trying to set up my new netbook to be travel-ready.

Our wings are not tired.

A warning. I tried a trial period of MLB through my Roku and was completely disgusted with the blackout rules. It was terrible. Between Fox owning ALL day Saturday and the various other technicalities of blackouts, I watched maybe 2 Phillies games in the SF market (I got the trial because I wanted to watch the Phillies with my boyfriend) during the 6 weeks or so I had the trial.
