Sue, read the reviews for the Dirt Dog (not just on iRobot's site, but elsewhere), and see what you think. The reviews seem solid.

Look also for refurbed/old models. My parents got me one at McFrugals which was about half the price. I presume it was an overstock.

help i am posting from my new kindle. i let a stranger on the bus play with her and now none of my books includeung the users manuel are sowing up in home. they are there when i searvh for them. but i can only read the page with the word i searched for.

It is sort of like cruising the web on my phone, but, um, slower. I did figure out my mystery-- I had to click near the top of the page to change my settings instead of going to "settings"
