That's beautiful. Or taken literally, incredibly gross.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

okay, you might want to consider dropbox (but this involves everyone using a software program for ease of use - though you can use the web version). There are paid accts, but you shouldn't need them if you are under 1 gig. If you are the one hoarding all the files, you yourself might need paid, but the others can get away with the free version.

I also might recommend drop.io. You can create different sites for different groups and they can upload to each site (or download all the files in bulk).

You can get a drop.io manager acct for a monthly fee that will allow total control over the other sites and when to open and close them, allot more space, etc.

What does it mean when Word will only start in safe mode? it keeps crashing and wanting to send an error report, and then will start in safe mode and seem to work ok. Biut has been doing this through repeated restarts and shutdowns of the computer. Work computer, so important docs, but not my money. OTOH, they just gave me this one a couple months ago.

It usually means some file is corrupted. When it opens in safe mode, go to Help/Detect and Repair and, if you're lucky, it will automagically fix itself. If you've already done that, reloading Word would be next. My new HP printer recently tried to have a duel to the death with Word and Detect and Repair seems to have brought about a truce.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Heh. My first guess was an app to prevent you from playing Metal Machine Music....

IIRC, Lou Reed is also nationally ranked in Tai Chi. Interesting and smart dude.

Heh. So if you think you're James Dean for a day, it will correct you. Plus it will suggest Valium for when you have to crash after speeding away.
