So what makes it a netbook? Size?
Yes.
Any recommendations on digital picture frames in the $50-$70 price range? Amazon has a lot on sale right now, from Opteka, Pandigital, Coby, and Kodak.
So what makes it a netbook?
There is another distinction. A netbook can get a special OEM price for Windows if it meets certain hardware restrictions, which is why so many netbooks are restricted to 1GB of memory. There are some that don't use the special pricing so they can have more capability, but they are the bigger and more expensive netbooks, typically with 11" or 12" screens.
I'm thinking about getting a GPS system. I need something that can give me a speed display all the time even when I'm not programming in a destination (maybe that's all of them, I don't know). I'm also not wanting to spend a lot. Any recommendations?
I just got a Garmin nuvi 260 W on Amazon for $120 for mr. flea's birthday. We like it. It does display speed, I think even when you don't have a destination in mind.
Thanks, and thanks to dcp too. I'm trying to decide now between a nuvi 205W ($100), a nuvi 1300 ($130), a nuvi 265WT ($160), or a nuvi 780 ($180). I have a premature Christmas gift certificate, so there has to be a big difference in price to buy elsewhere. I'm leaning toward the 205w after some quick investigation.
When my company entered a partnership deal with a large pharma co, my role was finding a good, secure, easy-to-use file sharing site. We decided on Egnyte.com and we are having MULTIPLE issues. Issues so bad that I now have to find another site. Like, immediately. And do the set up and data migration over the holidays. Thankfully really only our QA groups have been using the site, and there's not that much I'll have to move. But still.
Anyway I write this here in the hopes that one of you has a site you use for work that you LOVE? I am looking at box.net and filesanywhere.com right now.

how large are the files? how many people will be uploading? do you need memberships or would you prefer to share files via links?
