Yeah. I liked T-Mobile a lot for service and NYC coverage, but it was frustrating getting no coverage on most of my long road trips (which I've been taking a lot of having inherited a dog with my fiancé.) Plus, their phones just aren't nearly as good as I'd like, being a gadgetphile. (sorry, G1, but you were a first-gen product and kind of sucked, and the new one isn't that great either, apparently.)

Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
Dana, do you have a model name or a link? Hopefully it's something I could dart into Best Buy and get.
Does anyone here use Google's advanced search? Whatinhell does "Numeric Range" mean?
And has anyone ever used the "pages similar to"? Is it useful?
Yeah, I was afraid you might ask that. Let me see if I can find them. I think I got them from Best Buy.
Whatinhell does "Numeric Range" mean?
I think that's a search that matches if page contains a number within the specified range. Like a dollar range. I suppose, if you combine that with a clever text search parameter, it could be useful.
What's the price range on reasonable ones?
Looking at the iTunes store, I'd say $50-ish to $100 or more....

Their example, $1500-$3000 leaves me unsure if I should use a currency indicator. Also, say I was interested in that range--wouldn't I get back a whole lot of pages date stamped--oh, any time the web has been active? Context-free numeric range searching seems a very odd thing to consider of value.
Dana, those look like just the sort of thing. And if she doesn't like them, I'll just keep them. I'm that sort of a Santa.

Hmm. How to value my sister...
Do you love her?
My current headphones are cheap $10 ones from Target, but they're just plain headphones - they don't have a speaker or a button to answer calls, so if someone calls me while I'm listening to a podcast I have to take them off to talk.
The Apple-branded in-ear iPhone earbuds are $80. Which is way too much, but the $30 Altec-Lansing ones I used to have fell apart after a couple of months, so the extra $$ may be worth it in the end.
Do you love her?
I already loved her with her jewelry. This is just because she needed to borrow my headphones for her trip to NZ. I was going to surprise her with replacements.
Dana, how long have you had the Sonys? I can't imagine shelling out $80 to replace the little Apple dealies. I'm not an audiophile, but even I don't think they're that good.
