I got Fast Video Converter for free, and am allowed to give away the license key to 10 people. I don't know anyone else who might want to use it, so I thought I'd share it here.

I'd love it, but I would need to download to the home computer and I'm sure that it will get snatched up by the time I get home.
I'm not sure I qualify as a lurking Buffista, but Deena I'd love to use the key. I've been curious about this software for a while now.
I love my ASUS netbook. I agree with the recommendation to try out as many keyboards and configurations as possible. I couldn't have coped with a smaller keyboard.
Sure, ehab, feel free! Vortex, you could always call dibs on one, right?
Can I get one, Deena?

Is that okay? If so, I'm calling dibs! :) I'll try when I get home and hope that there's still one left1
Thanks Deena. I wonder how it knows how many are used? Perhaps they're keeping track centrally. There was no obvious counter when I plugged the key in.
Apple black Friday sales rumors: [link]
On the subject of Black Friday deals and external hard drives, Target will have this Western Digital Elements 1 TB USB 2.0 Desktop External Hard Drive for $60, which sounds like a great deal, so I am sure there is something wrong with it. It's way bigger than I need, but it seems the prices for external hard drives vary wildly anyway, so if I'm going to pay $60, I might as well get more storage out of it. Currently, I'm using my old 80 GB internal hard drive that I put in a case, but it can't handle all my video, so I know I need something bigger, and...this is bigger. It seems like it's pretty slow, but I'm already used to that. And Western Digital is good with hard drives, I hear.
