Flash controls have suddenly stopped working on this computer. (Meaning I can't click on the Play button on a YouTube videos or play Lexulous.)
I tried upgrading to the latest version of Flash, but no change. I'm on a Macbook Pro running Leopard and Firefox 3.5.3
Huh - restarting Firefox fixed the Lexulous issue, though embedded YouTube videos still seem broken.
Also, Firefox moved or removed the "Clear private data" menu option in the last update. Grrr.

A British company has come up with a universal TV remote that looks like a magic wand. With 13 gestures to master, the glorified stick changes channels, works the volume control and is compatible with most RC-enabled gadgets.
The Kymera Magic Wand remote is available from October 1 and will set you back $83. Cheap at the price for something so multi-talented: I'd add back scratching, boyfriend poking and nose picking to its abilities.
I just replaced my cooling fan! It was quite the ordeal; the stupid screws wouldn't go in straight very easily and then I was afraid of pushing the connector too hard into the motherboard. But I didn't break anything. And now my computer is very quiet and very cool. Cooler than it was before, I think; I can really feel this fan blowing air out.
AHhh! Just about had a heart attack--came home tonight and planned to do some recording of DVDs from things stored on my TiVo, to make room for New Fall Season! And suddenly...nothing worked! I kept hitting remote buttons and it made the bad/sad sound, and nothing would come up! NOOOOO!
I powered it down, and restarted it, and it is working now. WHEW! But I don't have TIME (or, um, inclination or money?) to shop for a new TiVo! Don't SCARE me like that, device!!

Pretty Sony Walkman is pricy. Which is probably for the best because otherwise I'd be all over that brown one.
Just ordered an HD Tivo. Soon I shall be free of the Cablevision DVR of Total Suckitude! FREEE!!! FREEEEEEEEE!!!!!
if anyone has connected a Tivo wirelessly to a network with an Airport express. I need help.
ETA - of course, the NEXT time I tried, going round a different way, it seems to have worked. 5 hours over 2 nights and buying a new adapter, that's all it has taken. Now to get the software and see if I can download these f'in cartoons.
