I see ads for the Jitterbug - old people cell phone, large buttons, phone only no text or web, as much like a landline as a cell phone cna get. Why a Cnet 404 reflext though?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

They're a little more advanced than jitterbug. Just a little.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The 404 podcast mocks Jitterbug in a fake old people accent mercilessly. Every time I think of parents and cell phones it's in a caricaturish voice now.

My 1st gen Intel iMac screen seems to have developed a vertical magenta line, roughly at the right side 1/3 area. Rebooting doesn't clear the problem. The machine is circa early 2006. Thoughts?

Any good recommendations for password vaults for OS X and Windows? I just realised that I'm only running one on my phone, which is silly.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

What's missing from the built-in keychain app?

The app I have on my phone gets a lot more granular than the OS X keychain app with a number of different templates like credit cards and serial numbers and email address/password combinations.

I could fake that all using notes et al, but if there are worthy competitors out there I'd like to hear about them.

I don't use it, but I hear 1Password getting mentioned a lot.

Thanks! It doesn't have to integrate with a web browser, by the way. For some reason I'm unremittingly old school with that--cookies or retyping.

FWIW I really like 1password. It works really well. I am not sure if it works on windows.
