Okay, so I caved to the peer pressure of the subway and the sad fact that I played with a Palm Pre (feels kind of like a children's toy, though the OS is lovely) and apparently T-Mobile's new Android offering is second-rate and bought an iPhone tonight.
16GB, 3GS.
What apps should I download? I don't really need any stuff for power users (no news readers, VNC clients, or SSH programs) or social networkers (don't care about facebook mobile or any twitter programmers) and have decided to forego instant messaging, but am interested in exploring other departments.
Also, do most people use the built-in mail for Gmail usage, stick with the web interface, or use another app?

Okay, I downloaded this sound program, but when I loaded it, it said "no sound driver detected". But I can listen to music with itunes and watch you tube videos and DVDs. I'm confused. Thoughts?

Blogger and Blogspot are the same.
Both Blogspot and Wordpress.com are free and pretty much instant to set up; my usual advice is to sign up for both -- you can play around with the admin interfaces that way, pick the one you like, and hold on to the other as a redirect/namesquat since there's no way everyone is ever going to remember which one you're on.
