A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

OK, thanks, Rick. I thought that\'s what you meant, but I couldn\'t find that on the website.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Jessica,

Anyone got a brand rec for a new wireless router, then? Our current one's a Linksys.

FWIW, all of the sudden 2-3 weeks ago, my laptop couldn't get wireless access - nor could any other device in the house, but the computer that was directly connected to the router hummed along nicely.

So after troubleshooting my ass off, I went to Best Buy, bought a new modem and a router. My modem was a D-link, router was a Linksys, and I bought a Linksys modem and router.

The new router and modem play very well together and I get a LOT more stability from the wireless than I did before. It got to the point where we would have to unplug the router every 2-3 days to bring back the signal.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Hmm - I think I'm stuck with the modem Cablevision gave me (since it's also where our phone service comes in), but I should check and see what brand it is so I can get a router that matches.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

We are not particularly happy with our D-Link router.

I have T-Mobile pay as you go service, which has been fine.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Two questions: Where do people recommend as a good PostgreSQL learning resource? Is there a PostgreSQL equivalent to SQLyog?

Um. Sean? I was joking too. Totally being snarky and silly right backatcha. Sorry it didn't come off. I posted with extreme snark pre-coffee. That was my first mistake, I think.

Okay. I'm having a oversensitive day, apparently. Nevermind, then. Sorry about the off-topic.

I'm having Airport Express issues.

I plugged it in, plugged the USB printer in, and ran the Airport Setup Utility so it would connect to our home network.

Now, not only can I not find the printer on the network, I can't even find the freaking Airport. The setup utility can't find it either as an existing Airport on the network, or as a new one to install.

WTF?

[eta - FINALLY! All hail the hard reset.]

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Looking at the phones on Virgin Mobile's website, some use "Superphonic Ringtones" and some use "Real Music Ringtones". Anyone know what audio formats these are?

t edit More poking around the Virgin Mobile website seems to indicate that "Superphonic" and "Real Music" are the same thing. But I still would like to know the audio format. Are they just mp3s?
