Angel: I appreciate you guys looking out for Connor all summer. It's just—he's confused. He needs time. That's all. Fred: Right. Time, and some corporal punishment with a large heavy mallet. Not that I'm bitter.

Compassionately intolerant

The Capitol is bouncing this morning. Packed with folks in their Sunday best, smiles everywhere. So unlike when the Repubs have come in. Those guys just seem to have no joy in their hearts...even when they win. Being poor losers? And sages of retrospect? Not a shock.

The Capitol is bouncing this morning

I envy you your intimate acquaintance with nifty things like that. Plus, the Smithsonian at your beck adn call!

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

I'm having chicken tikka masala with roti right now!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Republicans, still adjusting to their role as the minority party, were irate Wednesday that Democrats were speeding ahead without the minority party's input.

Oh, boo hoo. Let me wipe away the tears with my party's PLASTIC HAND. Or its umpty-jillion years of minority party status complete with the majority's plowing under its every preference, suggestion or thought no matter how narrow the margin, enjoying endless media time via its creepy sockpuppets, blaming all the many scandals of its ascendancy on the minority party, and even fucking over and wingnuttifying the already morally gray lobbying industry.

Whiny little bitches.

Ann, that's a ferret.

The Capitol is bouncing this morning

Hmmm. I may have to take a right turn at the Mall during my lunchtime walk instead of my usual left.

Art Crawl!!!

Happy Birthday ita!

I have to say that I don't understand ABC's issues with Daybreak given that they were already putting previously aired episodes on line. (Or what everyone else said.)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

We can give it up any time. If we wanted. We just don't want to.

I would never think of having shrift give up thousands of fandoms. What kind of shrift would that be? A sad empty morose shrift, is what. Just maybe slow down on starting new ones.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Rep. David Dreier, R-San Dimas

SAN DIMAS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL RULES!

Ahem.

Clearly, Mr. Dreier has not absorbed the most important lessons to come out of his constituency, which is, of course:

"Be excellent to each other," and "Party on, dudes!"

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Just maybe slow down on starting new ones.

But then you miss things! You don't want us to miss things, do you?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Happy birthday, ita!
