I put this in quotes because what the hell is K homework
K homework is to teach them the idea of doing homework so the pattern gets ingrained early on. It worked with Emmett who is the king of lazy sliding by, but does his homework diligently. (Which is one reason I let him slide on other stuff. Because, man, you can get into some ruinous fights on the homework front.)
