I had bacon!
Threw Matilda into the Baby Bjorn and went to the corner cafe where I got a latte and a parmesan bagel with cream cheese and bacon. LOTS of bacon. I think Matilda's cuteness was a factor in me getting an entire extra layer of bacon. Mmmmm. So freakin' good.
Then we walked around the Haight and pondered the Have-a-muffin-whiteyness of a parmesan bagel.
So weird -- I read a book last week-ish where the main character's regular order is a bagel with cream cheese and bacon, and I had never heard of it, and thought it seemed odd, but since then I've read of two different other people having it.
I'm having it right now. And it is indeed oh so very FG.
Someone mentioned it here within the past few days and I can't believe I'd never heard of it before.
Cindy, I was just thinking the same thing! Her car is on my street and I could go look for it. Maybe I'll call her.
Poor thing. She's going to be bone tired, after the delays, and whatnot.
I was thinking she was home, because I'd remembered that she posted, but when I went back, I realized those posts were made during her lay-over.
No answer on her phone. Hope she is okay.
I have lost my phone in my bed. Not my cellphone--that's right here. My land line phone--I took a call in bed, and the handset is nowhere to be found. Hmm.
I could get
out
of bed and look, but that sounds challenging.
Does the handset ring, or just the base? (If the handset rings, you could call it from your cell.)
call your land line with your cell phone?
