I think I'm with Beverly and Cindy on the list. I think any list of "must do's" or "should do's" besides one you've made up yourself is kinda silly.
I could go my whole life without matching luggage. I will not go the rest of my life without going to Budapest, Istanbul and Prague.
Nice thread you have here.
"Be a shame if something happened to it" ?
I need to get married, just for the presents.
SERIOUSLY.
Ann Taylor Loft just sent me an email with "8 November Must-Haves." Now, that one made me angry. Mostly because it included capri pants. You know I love the capris, but November is not capri season!! Although I did see two (TWO!) women today at lunch with capris and bare legs. It is not warm out there, people.
Dear Customer,
Thank you for your inquiry! Clearly you are incapable of reading, otherwise you would not be contacting me again regarding this issue. I could say anything here and you wouldn't know! 'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves did gyre and gimble in the wabe: all mimsy were the borogoves, and the mome raths outgrabe. If you are reading this right now, then I can't help but wonder why you haven't contacted X at Y for the documents you need as I indicated in a previous e-mail. Are you afraid of the telephone? I swear to you it's not a frumious Bandersnatch. Once again, thank you for your inquiry. If you need further assistance, please contact the help desk.
Thanks,
shrift
Well, to be honest I'll be ebaying a matching set of Samsonite Silhouette, three suitcases and a train case. We bought it new, but wound up using backpacks, duffles and sportsbags instead, so it's been stored.
From last natter, I got 80.6% Correct on the Tone Deaf Test.
I think it's not as hard as it thinks it is.
shrift, please do report if the beamish boy contacts you again.
I used to have matching luggage, but one of them perished in the cargo hold of a 747. It was a good death.
I have matching dishes - a discontinued Corelle pattern that I add to ever so often from eBay. I love Corelle; that stuff has made it through the last 20 years with only one breakage, and it still looks good. Flatware, though, I can't bring myself to shell out money just to have flatware that matches. All mine is random stainless in patterns I thought were pretty, cobbled together from thrift stores and yard sales. Doesn't matter that it doesn't match.
Flatware is another thing that is terribly cheap at TJ Maxx and the like.
Mine are from Ikea. I also have a fawncy set that comes in its own box. Haven't used it yet. It was a gift from the parents. As were the Ikea ones.
