Man, I wish I had champagne, and I don't think the liquor store in my neighborhood is open tomorrow. Bastards!
In related news, a bottle of wine that's been in my fridge unopened for months is still good, right?

Kat, nope-- I am TJing it, or maybe pizza tomorrow,
Jesse, you should get champagne, but the wine should be good still.
yes. even years depending on the wine.
I have had more cranberry juice this week then pretty much ever.
I think I'm too tired to remain awake much longer.
This was already shaping up to be the Week of Unusually Hot Waiters, but tonight I went to a restaurant I hadn't tried in over a year and my waiter looked like a pudgier Jake Gyllenhaal. I don't think I've ever had that strong an urge to sweep my place setting to the floor and pounce on someone.
I resisted the impulse, but he did get leered at and the extra 5% eye candy tip.
Picture any middle-aged white guy doing 80s-style "rap" arm movements. Yeah, it's awesome.
That's hysterical.
I kind of wanted to buy champagne for tomorrow too. But I don't really have any plans.
Today was the first day, I think, this month that I didn't have any kind of obligation. No work, no family, no xmas errands, no social stuff. It was kind of nice to wake up and not have a list of have-tos in my head. I've had the cosiest night hanging out in my PJs, snuggling cats and watching Ugly Betty. I felt cosy and content.
I also discovered tongiht that my local liquor store tonight has a little glassed in porch where it keeps all the boxes for people to take. I got a couple of boxes with the inserts for my xmas decorations.
poke, poke
tee hee!
That tickles.
YAY
Hey, stop that!
Howdy, everyone. All I did today was sleep, order delivery BBQ chicken, and watch FotR extras on DVD. Now, of course, I'm awake, full, and watching Harrison Ford on Biography, and marveling at how the one string of Xmas tree lights that were out earlier this evening are now on. The cat must have nudged the right thing--yay, cat! She's pulled one of the stockings off the bookshelf and is now sleeping on it (she loves the velvet), but I won't bitch since she fixed the light.
Hey, stop that!
Nope.
YAY cat.
