I don't give half a hump if you're innocent or not. So where does that put you?

I think the office is "closing" at 3. Not sure when I'm getting out of here, although after lunch and strategic application of caffeine, at least I'm not quite as homicidal as this morning.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Okay, I thought I was less homicidal, but I'm having to think again after a flurry of "see you next year!" jokes.

move out and draw fire

Embassy closed at 2:00, but I didn't go to work today anyway. Mal and I went to pick the DH up and play with the embassy dog ("Stavros"), and then lunch - homemade lasagna.

Coming up, four days off. I've been at work one day in the last two weeks, I think.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Isn't gandules peas?

In this case it was buttery yellow rice with little black beans, probably yellow tomato shards and slices of green pepper.

Art Crawl!!!

I would have loved a suitcase escalator at the train station (Ogilvie Transportation Center. . . or as I still remember it the CNW Station) - I and my heavy suitcase stood at the top of the escalator and I could not make myself get on it.

I stepped away and looked at the stairs: no. way.

Finally, I put the suitcase on the escalator by itself and followed a couple of steps behind.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In this case it was buttery yellow rice with little black beans, probably yellow tomato shards and slices of green pepper.

Curious.

I am so excited to go shopping for hosiery for me and my grandmother, and then to Trader Joe's for cheese and crackers, I can't even tell you.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I think gandules are pidgeon peas, aren't they? Maybe the rice was just considered assumed.
