Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

His sister and her partner have two children that he fathered, is the story I recall....

Yes, he's the donor for his sister and her partner. (The partner getting the spunk, of course.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Oh yeah. For a while I was Sperm Boy. Now I'm Bio-Pop.

The partner getting the spunk, of course.

Yes, occasionally I've had to point out that part for the confused....

Now I'm Bio-Pop.

Nothing like an Otter Pop.

I like that. Good job with the selfish mathematic genes, btw.

Holy carp I'm tired. We've been away from home for 36 hours.

Had a very lovely Christmas dinner with EM and spent the night there. Matilda slept well - going 4.5 hours in one stretch. Huzzah. Presents and coffee and hanging out until the afternoon. Hit JZ's Aunt's posh family thingie for 20 minutes so everybody could coo at the baby. Then to JZ's Mom's place for a much bigger dinner than anticipated with lots of extra people. Emmett was very well behaved for me the whole time. Gold star for robot boy.

Oh! The cat has been poking his head through the curtains and looking out the window for a couple hours, and we just looked to see what the heck he was looking at, and realized the rain had turned to snow, and it's all White Christmas out there! Cool.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Godson is back with mom. Asshat's lawyer 'splained why stealing your son is a bad idea.

Also, got to see grandandy in the hospital before I left. He said "You sure are pretty. You do an old man proud!" Cried pretty much all the way home.

Can the holidays be over now?

Thank You. Also learned, shouldn't watch Dr. Who while upset.

I got PotC for Christamas. So, I'm off to let pretty boys in eyeliner lift my spirits.

I did get to introduce my parents to Izzard. May become a recurring theme on Christmas. Also, Mr. Jane bought me fleur de lis jewelry. I bought him fleur de lis bed linens, which may become a theme. Also, also, my Saints won on Sunday, so clearly things could be worse.

Swouncing

Skipping a bit and poking head to post that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is a triple (!) Buffista birthday: Jesse H, Theodosia and Rayne (whom I hadn't seen posting in forever) have a birthday today!

Happy birthday, Jesse! Happy birthday, Theo! I hope the wishes for a great day and a wonderful year reach Rayne, too, somehow.
