It's simple. I slap 'em around a bit, torture 'em, make their lives hell...Sure, the nice guys'll run away, but every now and then you'll find a prince like Spike who gets off on it.

DJ, good gods! I'm so sorry. I wish them swift finding~ma. The father...well, given the list of indiscretions you posted and the fact it is Christmas, I will refrain from commenting on him.

msbelle, that picture is wonderful! It just gives me the most wonderful glow to see you two look so very heppy.

Merry merries, all!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Got absolutely lovely presents. A coupon good for 10 pilates classes from the DH, which I have wanted but was a big surprise, since we agreed my new skates were supposed be my whole present. Yes, I am married to Spoily McGenerouspants. Of course we also agreed his guitar was his whole present and I surprised him with a new drill. Our wonderful friend Ed, who stays with us every Christmas, loved his gifts as well. Now we rest a bit before we go off to Movie Day.

Merry Christmas Everybody!

Very busy here. There was much excitement with present opening and now I'm working on making lunch for the In-laws, cleaning up the kitchen from that, getting ready to clear off the table covered with school and gardening stuff, cleaning up debris from gift opening, and helping the kids with the loot. I just finished installing a new computer game. Watching the kids open gifts is a lot of fun. Gotta go and finish cooking.

Sheesh, CA is shakey this week.

I just kicked my parents out of the house to take a walk because I was about to strangle them. Nothing egregious, just underfoot while I was in the kitchen and trying to talk to me from across the house when I was using the blender. I CAN'T HEAR YOU STOP THAT.

So far the roomba is a hit except mom keeps getting slightly annoyed (or bemused, hard to tell) it doesn't go exactly where she wants it. Mom, that's the point of the random walk. If it went right where you wanted it at the moment you wanted it, it would be a handheld upright....

msbelle, that's such a great picture.

We're over at EM's house sated on presents and coffee and breakfast. A brief lull before we hit our two other xmas destinations.

Awesome picture, mamabelle!

It's good to hear that good times are being had. We had the flurried presents with the whole family yesterday, and I had some cookies for breakfast with mom today before she left for work, and now I'm thinking I'm going to settle in for a LotR-fest and not move the rest of the day. Present for me!
