We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

We were class of '93 - we were the smartest, but like unto herding a box of cats and very hippie-ish. Our Homecoming Queen wore Birkenstocks for the ceremony.

Juliana is me! That's exactly what my class of '93 was like. Hippilicious. And don't think I don't roll my eyes at the bitter irony that the years when I had the best body of my life, I was wearing HUGE men's flannel shirts and baggy, ripped jeans.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

So, wait. The mom from Who's the Boss is on Ugly Betty? As the wife of Caleb from The O.C.?

Huh.

Salma Hayek is so. fucking. hot.

And I totally called that Debi Mazar's character was going to be corrupt. Duh.

What time do you get in?

It's on my work email (huh, I should send that home, right?) I *think* four on moday, but I'll email or post it in lj tomorrow. I'm so looking forward getting out there, I could cry and I can hardly believe it is so soon.

Salma Hayek is so. fucking. hot.

No kidding. Seriously mesmerizing.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Today, at work, was pretty much a short bus kind of day. However, I am home, and watching Top Chef, and on the way home, I stopped at Whole foods, and bought Mac and Cheese and a little tiny caramel apple, so I am pretending the rest of it didn't happen.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

Um. Hi, kids. What do you call it when you gafiate from one place by un-gafiating to another? Because I think that's what I'm doing.

The swankest hotel I've ever stayed at was probably the Grand Floridian, when I was 3. Which, uh, may not count.

Also, was very amused by the earlier Class of 85-ness, since... that's the year I was born. 21 years ago, as of next month. Weird.

I'm as surprised as you are! My best friend had her 21st last week, and we definitely had a moment of "hold on, we're *how* old?" not helped by the fact that her birthday party consisted of going to out a nice restaurant like grown-ups. Which we are SO NOT.
