Yorkshire pudding: I've not only never made it, I've never had it. Who has?

If I make it in a muffin pan (so a little bit of batter in each muffin cup), how should I alter the timing?
In a muffin pan is the only way I've ever made Yorkshire pudding. Just be careful pulling the pan out of the oven, because it is easy to underestimate the height of the puddings and decapitate them upon pulling them out. (Because they involve hot fat, they're also just meant to be handled caefully in general.)
Basically, yeah, it's a eggy, liquidy batter poured over portions of hot beast-fat, that go in the oven and suddenly they balloon and are full of greasy crusty eggy goodness. (They're much denser and more nutritious than regular pastries.)

I'd been talking to a friend (in England) about them, but then didn't hear back for a while, and assumed she was offline for the night. She's since written back, and said pretty much the same thing. Thanks for the caution on removing them from the oven. I'm pretty sure that's something I would have had to learn the hard way.

I know there's something I'm forgetting to do, but I just had lunch with someone who's not planning on finishing his shopping until tomorrow (he just started today), so I feel very ahead of at least one curve to hand.
My brother didn't buy my mom a new DVD player for Xmas. Which is vexing, since I got her DVDs. So I'm going to get her a cheapo model from Circuit City. I'm probably better off going late-ish tonight than tomorrow morning, right?
I think that, at this time of year, stores should have live traffic cameras.
