Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

and rankings.
My understanding about Edwards is that he has a lady problem, or I should say a ladies problem. Wonder if he really plans on running at the top of a ticket. Gore/Obama is appealing though. One has charisma, the other has actual policy positions.
Supervisor just dropped a tin of chocolate-covered pretzels on my desk and begged me to eat some.
msbelle, is this a PC or a Mac? (eta: Oh, I see it's an iBook.) The rankings, playlists, etc. are stored in XML files - if you move those over too it should work. (I think. A while ago I read that keeping your iTunes music on an external drive is problematic. Don't know if that's still true.)
I'd like Gore, now that I hear him without the clutter, but if worst came to worst, I could deal with McCain.
I would have agreed with you at one time, but I just don't have any respect for McCain anymore. He has toed the party line way too much for my taste. He also caved on the torture bill. He was one of the few people who had some honest to God cred on this issue and he folded like a big ball of bitch.
I despise McCain with the fire of a thousand suns. He's reprehensible.
There's too many racist fuckheads in this country, and a disproportionally large cross section of said fuckheads own guns.
He ran remarkably well in down-state Illinois, which is not exactly a hotbed of liberalism.
Obama has also said that if he ran, he'd take greater security into consideration or something.
brenda, have you done the thing that you were going to do?
I would get very excited about a Gore/Obama ticket.
After 9/11, I saw a bunch of people talking about how Gore would have keeled over from fright, or peed his pants, had it been him in office, instead of Manly George Bush (bet you didn't know Manly was his real first name, did you?).
It always pissed me off to see that because, while we have no way of ever knowing how differently things would have played out, I'm quite certain he would have stepped up to the plate at least as well or better than any other person would have in that office at that time, and he might have heeded the warnings and found a way to prevent it.

The person he ran against was also black, not to mention batshit insane.
