But I don't even want to go to a store and pick!
MWAH! I love sarameg.
Sarameg, what do I get for your parents for christmas?
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Gift cards would be marvellous, especially on the packing front. Just not...international enough for me.
Hmm. Appears I shouldn't necessarily have gotten out of bed.
Shrift of the Santa Gift Cards would be AWESOME. I'd pay to watch that every year around thanksgiving.
I'm pretty good at gift cards, man. I make sure the stores actually exist near the people they're for, and that they shop there.
But I don't even want to go to a store and pick!
Too late! I couldn't mail anything in time for Christmas now. Chicago snail mail is too much like Going Postal for that!
Oh man. That's so true.
The thing about my bro? He works for UPS. So he's okay with me not getting things to him on time. He called me. I should call him back some time today. Or ever.
Shrift, the thought of getting to the grocery store or to the drugstore is overwhelming.
That sucks, Kat. The only reason I made it to the drugstore for lunch is because it was 50 feet away from where I work. And the grocery store is only half a mile, plus I get to drink rum when I'm done.
Alert!
For a limited time, John Hodgman's brilliant book, The Areas of My Expertise, is available on iTunes as an audiobook for free.

You & lori. Seriously. They are tickled to death to have company besides me. As am I. I meant to mention, if the weather turns really bad (I doubt, but) and you opt to take the southern route down, the offer stands.
Thanks y'all.
msbelle, I'm no less excited for you with Mac testing his boundaries than I was before. Some parts of this, I guess, are more fun than others, but that doesn't make them not normal or even necessary. Methinks he's making himself at home.
grrr... help a girl out, sara. We can't turn up empty handed. That's simply not done.
