Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Also, don't forget that Cephalopodmas is in two days....

Coding and Sleeping

I see that Brownback is positioning himself for 2008.

Brownback, a Kansas Republican, said he wants Michigan state judge Janet Neff to testify about her role in the 2002 Massachusetts ceremony, her legal views on same-sex unions and her ability to be impartial if called upon to rule on such cases

All of this for just attending a same-sex union.

You only have to come near a same-sex union to catch the gay and become an activist judge....

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hec, have you seen Selma Blair's new hair?

I have not!

I love the look.

Me too. She's had short hair before, but that's a particularly fetching look. I still think she's a rather boring actress, but now at least now she's a stylish and hip one.

I got all but my last gift at lunchtime, and just have to make four stops (possibly three, if I can get the Barnes and Noble giftcard at Walgreens where I'm buying greeting cards instead of having to go to the store itself) to get my cat's food/litter, a check deposited at the bank, and then Walgreens, and then I'll be done--yay!

I get to wrap up my future BIL's CD (Once More with Feeling, since he's a Buffy/Angel fan and I still haven't met him to see what else he might like) and mail it and their card out in the morning (sis's present is getting delivered from the supplier, most likely late since I didn't order it until last weekend).

Then after work tomorrow, I do laundry, pack, and call for taxi pickup for Thursday morning to get to the airport and fly to Philly by noon!

Now tagless for your comfort.

I love her hair. She can wear just about any style but she's fearless when it comes to short hair. I think she's just beautiful.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I have to pack tonight as we leave for Florida tomorrow. 5 days with my folks, oh joy. On the upside, we get to see Laura and her DH while we're there.
