Hey, preaching to the choir. I thought our Lady of the Perpetual Sea Breeze was the real deal until the Divine Miss J walked right through that door and right into my ass—which is where my heart is…physiologically. I could show you an x-ray.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I've made shortbread and cleaned a bit of my apartment today. I need to finish the cleaning, do laundry, and put the clean laundry into my suitcase.

Now I'm watching FotR and IMing with a friend. She's making fun of me. Aparently, shouting "Goonies never say die!" at the screen while Sam is fighting the cave troll makes me a dork.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I purchased cookiemaking supplies so when my nephew (my nephew likes carrots) wakes from his nap we can make chocolate chip cookies, which he's pretty stoked about.

It took a little while but he's warmed up and 'm getting kisses.

I need to make plans with friends, and I thought I might get out to New York for a couple days, but I don't want to miss a second of nephew time. Maybe I can get Polgara to come here for a visit, she's never met my fam.

It's good to be home, but I wish Ruby was here. I miss her.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

She liked her present!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I want Scola to buy me a present. How great!

Okay, home from two hours of teaching. Food, water, and back to bed.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I want Scola to buy me a present. How great!

Me too! and then I want to make cookies with Allyson and her nephew.

I also want my headache to go away.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Oh good...the funniest part of last night's SNL with Justin Timberlake is on YouTube now-- [link] (Jesse should especially view this clip)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, that was good. The styling was EXCELLENT.

Great gift, Tom!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In other news, not only did I nearly finish Christmas shopping today, I'm 95% sure I saw this guy on the street.

Our wings are not tired.

Sweet picture, Tom. I hope the niece hugs helped with the holiday stress.

Hee, the SNL clip was great. I rarely watch anymore. Too often disappointed.
