You know that fence we're building to keep the illegal immigrants out?
Border Fence Firm Snared for Hiring Illegal Workers
A fence-building company in Southern California agrees to pay nearly $5 million in fines for hiring illegal immigrants. Two executives from the company may also serve jail time. The Golden State Fence Company's work includes some of the border fence between San Diego and Mexico.
After an immigration check in 1999 found undocumented workers on its payroll, Golden State promised to clean house. But when followup checks were made in 2004 and 2005, some of those same illegal workers were still on the job. In fact, U-S Attorney Carol Lam says as many as a third of the company's 750 workers may have been in the country illegally.
That's my point. With
a final two, the jury would be ten. By having three in the final, the jury numbers work.
this weekend.
Oh nothing much. Except
going to freaking Mexico!
Still can't quite believe I'm doing this.
bon bon, about $15, but I'll bet the fumes in a salon would trigger a migraine something awful.
Speaking of which, where's a likely place to buy pectin? Freshdirect doesn't carry it...
Nails, hairdye, deep clean apartment, launder, grocery shop, drive all over creation christmas shopping, mailing after I've done the shopping, another box to goodwill after I fill the box from the deep cleaning, straighten out minor bank stuff, straighten out lease stuff (shit, I need to remember that.)

I read it as bon commenting that the other teacher should go to a professional instead of having ita do her nails for her.
Tomorrow I'm going to paricipate in a Habitat for Humanity build, although it looks like from the list is mostly painting, which is fine I'm good at that. It's with work so it will be interesting to interact with some people outside work. Then Sunday I'm going to a friend's birthday lunch.
Most actual grocery stores would have it, Jessica. Near the baking stuff, usually.
So what are people doing this weekend?
Writing and editing, punctuated by beer runs and desperate attempts to get some shopping done for Christmas presents.
