Thrive to spite them

Also I was thinking that this season the contestants have been the best fed. The show got away from making them all eat just rice a season or two ago. I can't remember if each tribe started off with a fishing spear or they had to win, that but between the fishing and the coconuts they seem much better fed. I wonder if this was decision becuase it really wasn't that fun watching survivors eat nothing but rice.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I guess when I heard that I wasn't really counting the final one as one of the three.

Oh, wait. This is how they're dealing with that pesky "even numbered jury" issue, too.

Fun for who? I liked it fine.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I only watch streaming TV on my Mac (fuck you very much, Fox), and CBS has been pretty unproblematic for me. NBC could take away the overall crown if it had more of its shows to stream, since its app is nice, and makes skipping ahead very easy. But CBS has the edge on material.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

brenda, but isn't it three finalists and nine on the jury? Not that I can imagine an even split, but still.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Jesse's right. I don't know how they're dealing with that issue, because ties are a problem. But a lot of people have mentioned that, so presumably the producers know about that.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

So what are people doing this weekend?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Going to my parents' farm for an early x-mas gathering. Probably for the last time ever....

Trying not to be so sick that it gets in the way of the krav holiday party.

Teaching.

Painting another teacher's nails. Somehow I've been IDed as the girl who's good with nails. Talk about low bars for femme. And I have Jilli to thank for it--with the Seche Vite she recommended not only does a manicure look tidy longer, it's faster to do.

But the idea of me helping some other chick look pretty? Oh, people are laughing now and may not be sure why. The chick will look just fine, BTW. She's kinda hot, and no one will be noticing her nails.

Mine, OTOH, are integral to my outfit, in a way that only I will be able to notice, I bet.
