Xander: I still don't get why we came here to get info about a killer snot monster. Giles: Because it's a killer snot monster from outer space. I did not say that.

I remember that her youngest child will be graduating high school and giving her her life back at about the same time my oldest (and at this point likely only) child will be entering the second grade

Think of it this way: You're so lucky Suzi had K-bug when she was young, because she supplied you with the good example Matilda will follow.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

You were discovering yourself, and look what you found!

Absolutely. I'm just going through a lot of that myself now. I feel so naive about so much.

Word of advice to you whippersnappers. Don't get married at 19.

Because books.

And yet I still know all the lyrics to Mr. Mister songs.

Somebody has to.

Eh. Not so much.

I remember that her youngest child will be graduating high school and giving her her life back at about the same time my oldest (and at this point likely only) child will be entering the second grade, and then I go straight into ::never stops crying:: mode.

::pats JZ's pretty head::

I was almost free. Jake will, gods willing, graduate in just three years, but I've got Sara now, who will go to kindergarten LATE because she's a Nov. 29 baby, thus pushing the whole school-going experience (and high-school-graduating) back another year. I don't want to think about how old I'll be when she trots off to college.

::cries with JZ::

Another class of 85er. Right now, I'm trying to figure out where I should go for my 40th birthday next year.

Because books.

Clearly, we should all have a big 40th birthday party together.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I was 10 in '85. I shudder to remember what I wore, but I do know that teal jeans were in that rotation.

JZ - Nov 16, 2006 8:07:24 am PST #626 of 10007
See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I don't want to think about how old I'll be when she trots off to college.

Between this, the similar SILs, and the identical beloved childhood toys and Brontë editions, (not to mention that we are both very pretty when Hec cuts our hair) we are a crazy parallel pair. I'll save you a seat next to me at Matilda's graduation, and we can cry and drink gin straight from the cat dish together.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I was 10 in '85. I shudder to remember what I wore, but I do know that teal jeans were in that rotation.

I had teal jeans!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Wow. Anyone doing T-day at home for the first time and in need of equipment, this is kind of a crazy deal: [link]

Because books.

we can cry and drink gin straight from the cat dish together.

Deal.

But we are *always* very pretty, dear. Let's not shortchange us.
