And speaking of contrived, watched Criminal Minds. Shiny, but the MoW-ness was palpable. Still it was a very pretty side of the shiny so I will be content.
I don't really expect total brilliance from the show, I accept the flaws just so I can have the bits I enjoy.
Okay, enough icon-making. Faux toddy and some Lost Room before sleep.
This just in from my friend who teaches public school in NYC:

Skipping lots and poking head to post that, ccording to the Buffista Calendar, today is Typo Boy's birthday. Happy birthday! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!
Hippo Birdies, Gar!
Poor Senator Johnson! Aside from my sincere wishes that he makes a full recovery, now I'm going to worry that this will affect the balance of power in the Senate.
Happy Birthday Typo Boy, who I still think of as Gar!!!
As far as I know it's just the three of you, but I believe I'm the only lighting designer here.
I am probably the only costume technician here, too, so I feel out numbered by the Audio-Luminary crowd. We don't have any set designers, though, do we?
Happy birthday, Typo Boy!
By the end of Criminal Minds, I was thinking "Emmy reel!!" But I still liked it.
Oh yeah, and I heard part of the conference call Sen. Johnson was apparently on when he had the stroke, and it was creepy and I thought possibly inappropriate.
