The Lost Room is a mini-series, Strega -- I think it's only the two parts. Maybe it's more? Now I have to check.

One way to break a choke (if both hands are used) is to weave your right arm over the left arm, grasp your hands together and do a circular motion, follow up with an elbow to the face.
This needs a demo. Not that the rest of it doesn't, but especially this one.
The end of The Unit was startling.
I am liking Lost Room a lot too. The protagonist isn't...oh, I don't know how to put it...sexy as such. He's a guy, with a problem posed, and sense and determination. There's a mystery, there are people who know more/different things than he does, and I don't for a moment feel teased or strung along, even at a cliffhanger moment.
I am curious about the mythology for the whole thing, but aside from the need for the big picture I'm enjoying the problemsolving that's going on.
More than pleasantly surprised by the Sci Fi Channel.
Had a migraine bad enough to make me leave krav ten minutes into class. Attempting to pick up a couple groceries was a gross overstatement of my resources.
I'm beyond tired of this.
Okay, The Lost Room is three parts. I should have figured -- I was wondering how they'd wrap it up tonight with only a half hour to go.
The Unit surprises me.
I'm looking forward to new Unit. It's hooked me, and is still impressing me for the same reasons it's impressing you, sarameg. All the more surprising coming from Mamet.
Also, I've said it before, but I'll say it again -- Jonas Blane is the anti-Jack Bauer. Jack's a yeller and a screamer, always trying to bludgeon any given situation by screaming louder and louder.
I don't think we've ever heard Jonas raise his voice.
Can I say how much I am enjoying The Lost Room? [snip] For anyone who has played an RPG (not me), you should watch, since it's clearly written by someone who has DM'ed.
Okay, I was already a little interested because of Peter Krause, but bon just sold me. When does it run?
Is season one of Eureka coming out on DVD?
Ack. I only scored 54% the first time through the geography quiz, and I ran out of time before I could answer the last question.
I didn't realize how to work the map at first and got around 30%. But the next couple of times I got around 70%. It's the African countries and the "-stan"s that get me, I always seem to be one country over.
Should I register for team US or team UK?
ETA: Dammit, they can tell I'm Canadian!!!
Little Cindy Lou Who - I wonder where she is now....
Honest to god, the friend I am driving home with for Christmas, her last name is Wu. And her brother just named his newborn daughter (ok, a few months ago) Cindy Lu Wu. Seriously. I mean, sure, most of her life people will only know her as Cindy Wu. But STILL!!! I'm supposed to get to meet her while I'm there for Christmas. I'm looking forward to it.
I missed the first half hour of Lost Room. How did the cop/daughter discover it to begin with? I came in when she put the teddy bear inside.
