Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.
I don't like those suggestions, tommy, not because I think they're wrong (cursorily I don't disagree with much in the "take a punch" one, but have a few issues with the street fight article) but because reading written suggestions is pretty much useless. Especially any the length of the street fight one.
You need practice to take a punch or win a fight--might as well sign up for one class or another, or just start picking fights. The learning curve is probably more painful in the latter scenario.
