Well, it's just good to know that when the chips are down and things look grim you'll feed off the girl who loves you to save your own ass!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

If OJ makes any money off of this, it goes to the Goldmans and the Browns -- who he's never paid because he makes a point of not making money. It's all more twisted than I could have imagined.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yeah, ask them if they give a shit.

I cannot believe that he actually found such depths to plunge to. Sickening.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I'd imagine he WOULD do it for free- he's such a sick narcissitic fuck that he can't help bragging about what he did. (but more likely there's some sort of legal twisting and turning that permits him to profit indirectly and without a trail)

This whole issue makes me so nauseous. I can't even watch TV or read the paper or anything these days.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I guess I expect that of OJ. I'm angrier at his publisher, and far more angry at Fox, which is broadcasting two hour-long interviews with OJ on the subject....

Blah blah tabloidization of news blah blah mad as hell and not going to take it anymore.

Blah.

Compassionately intolerant

(but more likely there's some sort of legal twisting and turning that permits him to profit indirectly and without a trail)

This is my fear and sure certainty. Although the twisted gratification is probably no small part of it.

I'm stunned by my own naivete. I honestly thought, having dodged the great cosmic bullet...in the form of a lethal injection...he'd have somehow had enough of a sense of self-preservation to...oh, never mind.

What's also ominous is that this special has nothing to do with the news division. OJ will interviewed by, like, his publisher, I think. The whole thing has been put together by Mike Darnell, the man who gave us Temptation Island and many other lovely FOX reality programs.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I wish the ghost of Edward R. Murrow would pop up at the studio like a vengeful Kayako from Ju-On and haunt everyone involved in that broadcast to their richly deserved final fate.

One of the neat things about dreams is the way identity can be so fluid in them. The other day I had a dream that started out as watching a movie, then my viewpoint sort of rushed forward through the Fourth Wall and I became one of the characters I'd been watching. Though perhaps, since the movie in question was a Vince Vaughn remake of Ishtar, I should describe it as a nightmare rather than a dream.

What is even happening?

I, for one, have never regretted following the example set by my ostrich overlords, and have nearly no idea what is going on in the high pressured world of orange juice that is so startling those Buffistas more in tune with current events.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

The local Fox newscasters were clearly disgusted at having to mention that the shows were going to be broadcast on their station. FWIW.

The Borders across the street from my building has opened! I think I know what I'm doing for my lunch hour....

That happens to me a lot. I get dreams where I alternate from watching a movie on TV to being one of the charactes to being the omniscient observer. Sometimes I loose track of my relation to the story.
