And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I didn't think those previews were really the teams, were they?

Oh, maybe not -- I assumed they were, since I know they've finished shooting.

I heard the list of all-stars somewhere. From this race, Kentucky is back, as are the Beauty Queens.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Phil said they were still secret, so I think those clips were not really the teams.

(Though frankly, the Hippies wouldn't surprise me.)

This is the list I saw. It's from TWoP, so I don't know how credible it is:

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Oh, happy day. I hope Mac enjoys his new country and city and MOM to the ultimate pinkerifficus. Also, again happies to Suela, who graces the world for another year.

Me, I am having trouble adjusting to the cold again, which is not even THAT cold compared to what's to come. Still, here I am with cocoa, bathrobe, scarf, furry slippers, and a cat in my lap, and only just feeling warm. And yet, the thermometer reads 68! WTF!!

In other news, I brought home an IBM Selectric on Friday, salvaged from the office. It spent a cold night in my car, but after a day to warm up it seems OK -- except that certain keys stick and it doesn't enjoy the backspace key as much as I do. Still, typewriters for everybody! Typewriters are just cool (and this one had some spare ribbons). Who wants a letter??

Who wants a letter??

Me! What's your font ball?

You know there are people who collect font balls.

I think mine is just something simple and serifed and fixed-width. Possibly even Courier. This is an ooooold machine.
