Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy birthday, Consuela!!

I put up my little tree. Cute! Now the question is, how do I apparently have all the strings of lights in the world? Do they multiply??

Art Crawl!!!

Happy Birthday, Consuela!

I phoned my brother -- he wasn't home but I think my s-i-l and I figured out my radiator problem. It appears that I had the one in the bathroom's knob opened to far so that all the steam was going there and the other two - not opened far enough. Thus the crazy steam all over all the time stuff happening. I'm hoping that I have found the balance.

And my doctor PHONED ME. Isn't that amazing? He was going over his notes and he called me up to make certain I was okay. I don't know whether to be really amazed at my good and conscientious doctor or really worried that my leg thing is more interesting then I want it to be. (He thinks it's a pinched nerve.)

Happy Birthday Consuela!

Welcome to America, Mac!

Last night I discovered a grill that has 8 oz. filets for less than 12 bucks on Saturday nights. It's not seasoned all yummy like Firebird's or Outback, but the price was definitely right.

Do they multiply??

When a mommy string meets a daddy string, they join sockets and then...wait.

This is such a strange cold. Spacy, but very little slime. Just an odd feeling in my sinuses and throat, occasional pointless cough and really evil headache at the base of my skull. Oh, and exhaustion. I don't really know how to treat it now.

why yes, when I'm sick, that's all I talk about. Maybe I think if I describe it to death, it will leave sooner.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have a small cold. Despite that, I went and did a hard workout at the gym. I hate feeling whiny, and perhaps I'll be too tired to do so now.

I am so verklempt over Mac. It's like all sorts of magic. Wonderful, wonderful.

Happy birthday, 'Suela!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Kirk Cameron has come a long way since his TV series. This I knew. However, I just stumbled on this clip talking of how the banana is proof of God's existence (and kindness, really). It's not Kirk's argument, but his co-host's. However, looking at this annotated and slightly longer clip, it looks like he agrees sincerely.

I think the rebuttals in the second clip are militant and over my personal line but I do like the wild banana information.

I'm still looking for an interpretation that has that argument as merely a goof.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Hooray, msbelle & mac!! Pizza IS yummy!

Happy Birthday, Consuela!

Go Allyson, with the Sedaris comparison!

Devi's discovered a new toy. About 2 feet of peach ribbon. She's been carrying it EVERYWHERE. And bringing it to me so I'll swing it around for her to chase.

Nothing like waking up froma nap to a spitty wet ribbon dropped across your neck.

Thank you all for the lovely birthday wishes! I got James Bond (which was impressive, such stuntwork!) and I did some writing, and my beautiful new mountain bike came in, and my sister is making me dinner with cake!

So, not a bad birthday at all.

Plus, Mac got to have pizza! Yay!
