Maybe it's a question of productivity?

Possibly. I try to feel guilty about the work I could be doing, then I find out that customers are mentioning me by name to supervisors and bosses as one of the best and I think "There's a place in the world for 'good enough' if 'good enough' makes people happy." If nothing else, it keeps my work stress levels down. Everybody wins.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Is Homophobia Associated With Homosexual Arousal?

Google html-ized version of study pdf.

The authors investigated the role of homosexual arousal in exclusively heterosexual men who admitted negative affect toward homosexual individuals. Participants consisted of a group of homophobic men (n = 35) and a group of nonhomophobic men (n = 29); they were assigned to groups on the basis of their scores on the Index of Homophobia (W. W. Hudson & W. A. Ricketts, 1980). The men were exposed to sexually explicit erotic stimuli consisting of heterosexual, male homosexual, and lesbian videotapes, and changes in penile circumference were monitored. They also completed an Aggression Questionnaire (A. H. Buss & M. Perry, 1992 ). Both groups exhibited increases in penile circumference to the heterosexual and female homosexual videos. Only the homophobic men showed an increase in penile erection to male homosexual stimuli. The groups did not differ in aggression. Homophobia is apparently associated with homosexual arousal that the homophobic individual is either unaware of or denies.

This is a common idea, but has it ever been experimentally shown before?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I have an interview in an hour and a half. Do I try and do more research on the technical aspects of the job and bullshit my way through, or do I try to talk up what I actually have experience with?

Also, can someone come fix my computer speakers? Thanks.

No prob! My sister has big calves from soccer and she loves tall boots and she gets them from there.

There's somewhere else, too, but I can't remember offhand.

Is Homophobia Associated With Homosexual Arousal?

Well! It's certainly confirmed anecdotally by the recent scandals.

How much evidence is there of women having lesbian-oriented homophobia?
