Just imagine if runway models needed to wear bras. Would mess with everything!
Dangerdame.com tells you what size a given model's wearing in their photographs. Which is a good idea. Trial and error, back when I wore VS, told me that I should stick to bras modelled by Tyra, for instance.
If I am to wear the clothes, they need to be relatable. But those clothes the runway models are showing aren't really meant for me anyway.
In other news, I left a comment on a Bravo TV blog, and it never showed up! I was totally censored! What I said (in part) was "Eff those haters."
I tried to leave a comment on the Entertainment Weekly site about two weeks ago, in response to a review of Veronica Mars. The first time, it got censored (in a preview function) for inappropriate language; the word in questions was "Sheeesh." The second time, it got censored for inappropriate language; the word in question was
"rape."
I used the word
"rape"
because the reviewer had incorrectly stated that the
rape mystery
had ended, when it still had a week (and an actual resolution) to go.
I'm going to say it again, here, where I can be free: Eff those haters!!
Jesse, you are just BEGGING for an in-thread warning for that language, aren't you?!?!
(And Cindy, don't think I'm not keeping an eye on you, either....)
It's a cry for help, really.
Yeah, swimsuit models are generally curvier than other models, because of the boobs--runway models and high fashion models are way skinny, and generally edgier-looking, becuase it's more concept/clotheshanger, whereas stuff like catalog models are going to be more normal looking (shiny happy still don't have curves or breasts but aren't actively anorexic looking in the photos). Also why ANTM is ridiculous, because most "top" models start when they're like 14, and have no curves or bodyfat.
What cracks me up is that this season of ANTM, Tyra has been wearing a corset almost every time. Something makes me suspect her body image is ALL fucked up.
FUCKOS!!!!
It had to be said, really.
Lord, those places don't want me to show up.
Not all Milch-desensitized anyway.

Yeah, it's lame to think anyone over 18 is about to be "discovered" as a model. I noticed when they had the woman from Seventeen, the pictures of Tyra in Seventeen were when she was like 15.
