My best friends here are settling on their new house today. They are first-time buyers. It's very exciting but I'm worried that their first act as homeowners will be dealing with a fallen tree because their new place is surrounded with them and it is getting verrry blustery out there.

It's warm here, which is nice. This snow thing is a fading memory, and I'm good with it staying that way for now.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.
So, it turns out that putting cookies on the table in my office was not enough to get people to eat them -- I put them in the kitchen five minutes ago, and I've heard three people take them already. Phew!
