Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I think Eleanor Roosevelt was Eleanor Roosevelt Roosevelt (she and FDR were cousins. Also I think her first name wasn't Eleanor - maybe Anna?)

Yep. She was born Anna Eleanor Roosevelt.

Just looked at the regional weather radar--looks like this storm is going to completely avoid the northern 'burbs up here! Considering I still haven't bought my boots for this year yet, I'm glad.

I also learned there are Unicode codes for Linear B! Unfortunately I could not get either IE or Firefox to render them, assuming I was using them right.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Really!? So cool.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

You need special fonts installed for Linear B.

OK, y'all, this is freaky. Sometime in the past hour, my pajama pants spontaneously deconstructed. Or something. Behind my knee, it's like someone pulled a thread (this is tshirt material) and it's just split from seam to seam. I have NO IDEA when or how this happened, except that they weren't like this when I put them on, and I haven't noticeably snagged anything. Freaky. Time for a trip to target. Damn, I liked these lounge pants.

I've come to the end of the internet, my pants exploded, Grey's Anatomy is preempted, CSI is a rerun so I'm watching NOVA. On dogs. Tonight is weird.

My pants are only safety pinned. Will I get to see Gray's?

If you aren't in the Baltimore market, yep.

OK, this thing on dogs? Is cool. Breeding foxes for tameness resulted in physical changes (coat, ears, etc.) And I've figured out the other kind of fox that was in with the servals at Big Bear- siberian. There was also a fluffy white arctic fox. In with servals. And they coexisted.

I must admit to preferring cats to dogs (I get cats. Dogs kinda mystify me), though if I could guarantee a Bear or Kuma (yes, even Kuma) I might be inclined to have one. If I had a yard. And a good handheld shower (any dog I've lived with required a lot of baths, because doggy smell is noxious to me.)
