Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I wish I were rich and could use these for my grocery lists.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

It's 10 degrees here. There's ice on all the side roads but the major roads are clear.

I want to wear my SWEATERS that camoflauge the ~5lbs I've gained over the past few weeks!

HA! This is a good point. I need more sweaters.

I just got my drivers' license here in AZ. So I got my photo taken and my weight marked down with a) a haircut I really don't like and b) my highest weight ever. And the kicker? It won't expire until I'm 65.

Oh, but it's okay, because in a quick 12 years, I'll be able to update my photo. Hee.

No, really it's good because I don't have to deal with the hassle, but still. And I still have to go in and get my registration transfer finished, because freaking blizzard yesterday prevented the MVD from doing their vehicle inspection.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

In between: Rain of toads.

Aaaand we're moving my friend K on Saturday. Joy.

Speaking of that, and this is random, but what else is Natter for? I was reading the Tech thread, and about three months ago tommyrot linked to a comic that made a joke about sudo, some kind of root command... anyway, the website he linked from belongs to K's brother!

The world, she is tiny.

That's wacky. Twelve years is a long time!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Johnny. And Big Bird.

Awww...

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

We may be leaving early. I was dreading driving on the roads at 7:30 at night.

(I know other cities have much worse winter weather than I could even begin to want to fathom, but these roads just aren't built for it, and I don't have the tires nor the driving skills for it)

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Hee! I just drug everybody out of their offices, clients and all so we could watch the snow!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I want snow. It's 68F here, which is JUST WRONG.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Trade you your 68 for the 19 here, Jess. It's supposed to get to 29 today, a heat wave!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

It's in the 40s here, which is also wrong, but now that I have heat again (! That still makes me happy), it's harder to care.
