Gwen: Demon, OK? The whole nine—cloven feet and horns and teeth. He wasn't wearing lamé though. Lorne: Yeah, the evil ones can't pull it off. It gets camp.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I know the House quote for the same reason Jessica does, and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

I don't watch House, but I know the concept for the same reason, as well. There's no shame. Actually, musical theater is responsible for a lot of my extra-cirricular education, with Looney Tunes filling in the rest of the gaps.

edit: Gen-X x-posty with Jesse!

hip deep in pie

The Simpsons is also a font of pop culture references. My friend and I watched the Graduate last year, and during the wedding scene, I was like, "Oh, this is where that Simpson's scene is from!" (When Mr. Burns and Grandpa Simpson are fighting over Marge's mother and Grandpa S. Interrupts her wedding. "Mrs. Bouvier! Mrs. Bouvier!")

FNL is moving to Wednesdays at 8 Eastern.

Hmmm, doesn't really help me out.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Just goes to show that all the things you think obvious never are.

I figured the Biblical reference was one that if not in pop culture almost independent of the Bible (like the 3 wise men (they are, aren't they?)) that most people would know it anyway--in a country where "In God We Trust" is on the money (it is, isn't it?) I forget where the line falls.

What is even happening?

If FNL would move to Fridays, I would remember to watch it. I've had the worst cognitive dissonance with that show, and any night on which it is scheduled. I know Friday's a sucktacular night for an hour long drama, but I think with their name, they could make it work.

But wouldn't part of their expected audience be out on Fridays?

(this is where my knowledge gets Swiss cheesey)

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

But wouldn't part of their expected audience be out on Fridays?

That's the reason I heard it's not on Fridays.

Probably, ita. I just can't remember to watch the damn thing, and it only ever occurs to me on Friday, then I do the d'oh headslap, and forget all about it, until the next Friday, when it's also not on.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.
