My only issue with Cuddy is, does she not have friends? Do her friends not have kids? At her age, I'm betting someone she knows has gone through this kind of thing already -- the "it seems to come so naturally to OTHER PEOPLE" kind of thing. I mean, maybe she doesn't have friends, but I'm just saying.

People should stay home when sick, IJS.
I would have, but I'm a temporary employee and I don't have any sick days. Stupid bills.
Ack. Okay, I'm going off to watch House.
I don't think she does have many friends outside of work, and most of her colleagues are men.

Augh, I still have to watch last week's episode, too. Stupid job and stupid need for sleep!
"Now that you've chosen me to lead you, I would like to broaden our platform to do stuff Jesus actually told us to do."
"No."
Huh?
Look, man, I'm really sorry. It's not that you don't have some great ideas -- you're just not testing well with focus group audiences. It's all the camel... needle... eye... stuff: Your whole presentation is way too fuzzy and metaphorical, and if I understand what you're saying with that, you're pretty much dissing our biggest donors.
Oh, and derailing stoning like you did the other day? Not. Cool. The core constituency loves a good stoning, and all you had to say was "I endorsed this message".
Oh, shrift, I was actually going to say something in my post about how you (one) should definitely stay home if you (one) have paid sick days. Sorry about that.
Cuddy: but why wouldn't she? I hate that about TV sometimes -- when the show is about the job, and people have no other life. I buy it, because why else would she have ever even said anything to a coworker about trying to get pregnant, but still.

Plus, would it kill ya' to cut your hair? You look like a goddamn hippy....
That's a very valid point. But, I do think it also plays into the fact that Cuddy miscarried and she could be blaming herself for that. Kinda thinking that she did something to make that happen and she's so bad a mother as to lose a child before it's born that she doesn't deserve to have one. I can imagine a lot of women who have gone through miscarriages have had those feelings. They aren't true, but that doesn't stop the person from feeling like they are.

I can't leave my coworker. Yesterday we were here from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm and it was rough. I can't imagine what it would be like if it were just her by herself.
I did not get to watch tv last night. I went home and fell fast asleep.
