Jen, I think he's joining a new series. Lemme google and see if I can figure it out.

How long do hockey games last?
Three 20 minute periods. Usually on the order of three hours or so, though overtime can stretch them a bit. (Into the wee hours if it's a playoff game and overtime is played until someone scores rather than one period plus a possible shootout.)
Lee, say it ain't so!
Thanks, Lee. Aw, man. Well, at least they gave him a way to come back if the new series doesn't work out .
Yeah, you really can't go commando to the embassy.
Hey, if there's any bureaucratic red tape left to sort through, Sharon Stoneing an embassy official might just speed things up...
Actually, it's not quite true. He's signed on for 24, not a new series, and imdb only has him down for one episode (so far).
Oh, well, OK, that could work out fine, even if it is more than one ep.
According to the Numbers creators, Peter was scheduled to do the first 11 episodes and then leave to do 24. They're hoping to have him back for the end of the season but don't know yet for sure. I think 24 finishes shooting in March-ish.
ETA: If he is able to come back, it sounds like he might be coming back right around the time Diane Farr comes back from having her baby.
That's actually pretty cool. I hope it works out that way. Thanks, Kristen.
That's good to know, Kristen. I figured there was a reason they specified that he would be gone for 6 months.
