Today I slept in, watched the dog show with cats sleeping on my lap, watched some TV that I recorded back in October and made a spinich lasagne. I need more days like this.
Funny Farm is kicking my ass. The blocks you guys are talking about are ones I don't even have open yet. It's probably less frustrating with a faster connection.
Just back from dinner at vwbug's folks -- which was outstanding and delicious and I had seconds (which if you know me is amazing) and then there was apple pie made by ms bug herself, which might be the best pie I ever tasted. So yay!

It's been a very sleepy day today. It's all good. Food is cooking. Allyson is setting the table. The dogs are running around. Well, more like wandering slowly and then sleeping. Polgara is cursing the game. Sarameg is doing dishes.

Oh Lee, I'm so sorry you're sick, especially today and this weekend. I hope you get to the point where you have an appetite. I don't blame you for not undertaking an 8 hour drive.
But....FX shows the truncated-for-more-commercials-because-they're-greedy-bastards versions of the episodes!Yes. Yes. If I *need* the episode, I watch it on DVD. But if I'm lazy and looking for something on TV, and TiVo's caught one I was in the mood for, it's a treat, like hearing a favorite song on the radio.

It was very smooth, thank you. And the pumpkin pie was decidedly good, if ugly. The chocolate cream was delicious. I don't know about the store bought emergency pies, but they're there, and pies. I've never had a hard time with pies, before. It was a bit of an assault on my something or other.
Deja Vu. My normal movie companionis a freakwon't watch Denzel Washington movies. So today I'm taking advantage of the holiday.
