Mmmm.

A croissant with turkey dinner, what a great idea.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Does that mean that you and food have resolved your differences, Lee?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Not really. Pictures of food are good though.

I'm glad to see others agree with me on a proper time to eat Thanksgiving dinner (I've always aimed about 2:30, I think...time enough to sleep in a bit, nibble something for breakfast, then cook until you're starving).

However, the one I"m going to doesn't start until 6:30. So I ate lunch. I have a feeling this may mean I'm not hungry for turkey. Nooooo! Curses!!

I am being MOCKED for being the only person in the house who got trapped by The Game. So not fair.

If only ita and Lee were.

Happy Turkey Day!

I am watching a marathon of The Closer and all these Day After Thanksgiving Sale commercials are making me nostalgic for the good old days, when doorbuster sales started at 8 AM. This 5 AM stuff is just insane.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Nothing could drag me to a mall on the day after t-day no matter what the time. But it does seem to indicate an uptick in the craxy.

I always loved the Day After shopping. We'd get up early, be there when the stores opened and be done before noon. Then we'd have a nice lunch and get home by 2 or 3. Just in time for a nap!

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I love shopping on the day after t-day. But I shop with purpose and a plan and I could totally do 5AM because that's the only time I'm awake and feeling up to shopping. It's a weird thing.

Allyson was nice enough to brave the early AM to drive me up the mountain. Isn't she the best?
