What is even happening?

( continues...) top, where the pie was over stuffed has burnt spots, too. The rest of the crust looks under done and tough.

Christopher made his heartbreaking face he makes when he is going to cry. Then he made the more heartbreaking face he makes when he's trying to be brave and not cry.

So I cried.

Scott went to the supermarket and got us apple and blueberry pies from the store bakery. And the chocolate cream pie looks great, probably because I was too busy botching the others to screw it up. Thank goodness we're going to my mother's for dinner, speaking of which, I'm off now. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

I want a new oven.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh dear, Cindy.

Although I know elephants can recognize their reflection as a reflection not another elephant. Some primates and maybe dolphins can do the same, IIRC.

I swear we just talked about this like three days ago. Try searching on dolphins and you should find more.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I TiVo the FX Buffy reruns, in case I'm in the mood for a Buffy, and too lazy to pick through the DVDs. When an episode I'm in the mood to see pops up in my Buffy folder, it seems to mean more than when I go to the DVDs and pull the appropriate disc.

But....FX shows the truncated-for-more-commercials-because-they're-greedy-bastards versions of the episodes!

Also....Happy Thanksgiving/Day Off/Regular Old Day to everyone! Must hop in the shower and then go to Mom's for a Very Vegan Thanksgiving.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yeah, I linked to some National Geographic bits about animals and mirrors.

Oh dear, Cindy. That sounds very stressful. Hopefully you've used up all the bad juju in one shot, and everything will be smooth from here on it.

What time do people traditionally sit down to T-day dinner? I want to buy my movie ticket for when the rest of the world is least likely to be there.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Early afternoon. Enjoy the lack of people!

Yeah, I linked to some National Geographic bits about animals and mirrors.
Figures. Learned something interesting, likely came from a link here. Or LJ, but still you people.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Figures. Nearest cinema is showing it at 1:10 and 4:30.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Poor Cindy, and her pies.

What are you going to see, ita?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

For lo, she is come! Cindy, the pie slayer!

Poor Chris and his brave NoCry face.
