Fred: So you don't worry that it's possible for someone to send out a biological or electronic trigger that effectively overrides your own sense of ideals and values and replaces them with an alternative coercive agenda that reduces you to a mindless meat puppet? Shopkeeper: Wow. People used to think that I was paranoid.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have the Harmony remote control--it's a step down from the Tivo Remote, but it's just one remote and ten million miles up from the DVP. It's also kinda cool to have TiVo play in the same place as OnDemand play in the same place as DVD play.

Oo, the Harmony remote is shiny.

I have one remote for the DVD recorder, and one for the TV/Cable that is semi-universal but can't work the recorder beyond turning it on and off.

And it doesn't look like it can handle this one either, le sigh. But the new DVD player will mostly live in my bedroom so I suppose I can manage somehow.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

OK I am still plugging away at the crack game. It occurs to me that I may have missed some clues earlier and I don't want to ask the same questions that have already been answered ferinstance I know I'm the only one who doesn't know how purple connects to people. By any chance did anyone bookmark the origin of the evil puzzle thread so I can go back and read all the clues before I ask for more?

I had something with cranberry mayo. I'm not sure I got past the pink. It tasted inoffensive, but I kept expecting it to taste like strawberry yogurt, and in fact grew to want it to taste like strawberry yogurt. It was very strange.

I know a cat who likes to shower. In fact, insists on a morning shower. He's strange.

I didn't save the game when I left work!! I just had to re-create a ton.

17 boxes done. I lack the entire right column and then a 3 in the top 2 rows.

ita, I don't get that clue either, but I am googling.

Laura, I don't have it marked, but the purple and people connection is weak - think "it's PEOPLE!"

Back to the crack. Things I am missing: In automobiles, the thing that is connected to train that's not car or automobile. Also missing the two items down and to the left from go-karts. The two cubes in the upper right, top row, are mostly white space for me, still.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

My cat likes to walk around our shower, but not when the water's on. She'd probably flee the room if the water was turned on.(Of course, she runs away when I sneeze, so she's easily startled)

Really cool video. Trust me. This is in penance for the Carrot Top thing.
