The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Thanks msbelle! I was trying to make the grassy knoll fit, but it wouldn't.

Did I post here about the time last month when Amarna was going spare over the invasion of the balcony by a squirrel who proceeded to not only hang out on the balcony railing, but then ran directly in front of the sliding glass door, only a few inches in front of Amarna who ran right beside him. Lucky the door was closed, otherwise I think she might have gone through the screen to get at that pesky critter!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Heh. I sometimes wonder what my cats think of my habit of letting water run all over me. Maybe they just pity me for the lack of a clever little scratchy tongue....

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Heh. I sometimes wonder what my cats think of my habit of letting water run all over me. Maybe they just pity me for the lack of a clever little scratchy tongue....

"Good Bast...do you see what the Big Things put themselves through?"

"Gah. It makes me shudder and twitch my whiskers like this. Why would anything do that?"

"I've been studying their language for sometime and I think they do it to get clean."

"Poor stupid monkeythings. Know they not that their tongues are perfectly serviceable, even as they lack our raspiness? Let us pray to Bast that they receive swift deaths and that Bast does not toy with them as she would a mouse."

"Agreed. Hey...jump up the wall clawing at nothing later?"

"You're on."
