"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I'm bringing the laptop, so I'll likely be around. I cannot wait to be up there, sitting on the back porch, knitting, sketching, playing on the laptop and sipping scotch.

Want to leave NOW!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I have pancakes and bacon!

And eggs, too.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I have sesame chicken.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I had a giant carnitas burrito the size of my head.

I've been looking forward to that ALL WEEK!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Heh. Just discovered my Secret Santa Giftee's favorite colors... which just happens to be the same colors in the yarn of the elegant scarf I'm knitting at the moment. It's like it was fated or something, since when I started it I thought that it would end up as an SS gift before I was assigned to somebody.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I had mini oreos for breakfast. And not enough coffee.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There should totally be a fort.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'll grab a corner of that fort. Or a parapet or something.
